| Bio: | I am an artist at heart. For me, art is a means of expressing, giving, showing, creating, learning, appriciating, loving, understanding, discovering, teaching, living. I like a lot of different medias. I think that I like acrylic paint best, but it depends on my mood and the subject of the piece. I am a very thorough person, and this is often obvious in my artwork, I tend to do detailed work with a lot of color. I love colors too, all of them. They're all so beautiful. :) While we're on my likes...I'll list a few. Sunsets, Sunrises (any kind of cool lighting), Eyes (mmm, pretty colors), Animals!, 'specially Wolvsies, birds of prey, Fantasy books and illustrations, GRYPHONS! dragons, candles, Italia, snow, good music, theatre, beautiful things...people. people interest me a lot. I love seeing other people's art, hearing their stories, learning about their lives. It's like an absorbtion thing, because I share a lot less with them then they end up telling me, but what can you say? I'll talk about small unsubstantial things, but not often emotional issues and the like. Also, I tend to be bad at small talk and thus make friends very slowly or seldom. This isn't usually an issue unless I'm in a new place, in which case I'm too shy to interact with anyone. Most of my friends would look at me strangely if I told them I'm seen as shy by anyone, but there you go. I am pretty independant. I don't tend to depend or lean on other people for much, but this also makes it really difficult for me to ask for help with anything. It's a pride thing, I suppose. I'd like to think that I take critism well, but it's hard to tell, because it's not something people give out that readily. I love to analyze things, people, relationships. Something about figuring out the inner workings of complex things really intrigues me. I find it cool that a person's reaction to any situation can be explained by some aspect of their personality. Of course, it's never quite as simple as this, because people are very complicated. This just means that everytime they react differently then you guessed they would, you discover something new about them. It's like a game to me. =P Of course, becides being artistically inclined I also like to fence. This is with swords, not with boards. =p It's a fun sport, little bits of medieval swordplay mixed with mental stragety....it's a game for the mind as well as the body. Not much else to be said about this, except that it has taught me a lot about my self and people in general. Theatre is another big thing for me. See, theatre fits into a different catigory then either art or fencing. I love art and fencing because It is something I am either good at or have a natual inclination for. Theatre, on the other hand, is not my forte. I love it to death and wouldn't stop doing it, but I don't plan to make a living off of it in the future. The reason I do theatre (becides the fact that I like to act) is that I love theatre people. You will not find a cooler group of people anywhere. =P they're open minded, friendly, outgoing, accepting, crazy and all-around fun people. | |||||||
